Partner With Us

Your partnership is critical to the success of Kaleo Family Services

As we move forward to meet the requirements necessary to open Kaleo Family Services, there are a few ways that you can play an active role in helping us get there. As passionate and driven as we are to serve the foster children of Georgia, we need your help. You can fill an important role, or roles, by faithfully participating in the following ways:

Prayer

Scripture teaches us to pray faithfully (James 5) and to pray persistently (Luke 18). In everything we do for and as Kaleo Family Services, we want to honor God. We are looking for a large, unified voice to seek His will for Kaleo.

Financially

Of course, one of our main objectives right now, and for the next few months, is raising money. It’s not fun to ask for, but is essential if we are going to be able to open by Spring 2021. We are required to turn in a detailed budget and also show a balance in our business account that is large enough to float our entire operation for several months. This budget includes multiple staff members and multiple insurance policies, along with all of the other things needed to operate a business on a monthly basis. We will operate with this funding until we are able to secure a contract with the State of Georgia, which will take the few months mentioned above.

Donations

As foster parents ourselves we can assure you of this, few things are sadder than a child coming into your home with only the clothes on their back. Occasionally, they will come with a few items in a trash bag. Imagine being a child, or teenager, and carrying everything you now have in a trash bag. Please consider donating any of the items listed below. These items can make transitioning easier for the children and the foster parents, too.

  • Back packs
  • Duffle bags (soft luggage)
  • Clothes
  • Diapers, wipes, etc.
  • Toys for various ages

Fostering

Of all the things we need, foster parents are the most important. As mentioned above, we need your prayers. But, please also be in prayer over opening your home to children who need you. It’s a hard thing to think about, we know. We’ve been there. We also believe that caring for these children is a fundamental responsibility of the church, not a calling for a few. Please consider opening your home.
